Yes for school-age children who like colourful buildings and space to move. The gardens, tunnels and separate pavilions make Sant Pau easier to pace than Barcelona's crowded house museums.
The site opens gradually: brick façades and ceramic domes around gardens, then tiled wards, airy day rooms and tunnels that once moved patients and staff out of sight. Decorative abundance had a purpose here, bringing daylight and calm into a working hospital. Because the complex is spacious, details remain visible rather than buried behind a crowd. It is the strongest corrective to the idea that Barcelona Modernisme begins and ends with Gaudí.
