Is MNAC – National Art Museum of Catalonia worth it for foodies?

SkipFor food

MNAC – National Art Museum of Catalonia is the wrong stop for food & drink.

The Romanesque galleries are the revelation: medieval frescoes removed from Pyrenean churches are installed in curved apses, so their original architecture remains legible. Gothic panels, modern Catalan painting and decorative arts follow, but trying to cover every floor weakens the visit. Choose two collections, then step onto the terrace for the long view down Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina.
